| I. JOB SUMMARY |

| Employee fabricates/welds headers for Stans Headers who specializes in all make and model vehicles. Employee will determine what fixture (jig) is required for a specific make and model vehicle and build to specs. Employee will use various tools and equipment to accomplish his duties (see essential functions below). Employee must be able to work in shipping and recieving, must be able to use computer and learn to use the UPS shipping program. |

| II. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL TASKS |
| 1) Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications. |
| 2) Analyzes specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. |
| 3)Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques |
| 4)Uses existing fixtures (jigs) and other work aids to create headers. |
| 5)Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or volage to obtain desired flame or arc. |
| 6)Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using Mig or Gas welding equipment. |
| 7)Heats, forms, and dresses steel parts, using hand tools, torch, or welding eqiupment |
| 8)Cuts work piece, using powered saws or hand shears. |
| 9)Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. |
| 10)Removes rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper. |
| 11)Observes tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications. |
| 12)Boxes up product, uses computer along with UPS program to initiate shipping process and print shipping tags and labels. |
| III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE POSITION |
| 1) HS Diploma or GED required |
| 2) Demonstrate ability to learn |
| 3) Automotive parts, and mechanical knowledge preferred |
| 4) Welding, Shipping & Recieving, and computer knowledge is a plus |
